9/28/07 - Not Only Chipper In Dublin, Eamonn's in Alexandria Makes Me Chipper Today!!!
An Irish Chipper? How about an American Chipper! I certainly was chipper after seeing this sign after wandering through oldtown Alexandria, VA. Copperplate Gothic Gold abounds in this popular tourist location and all around great place to live. You can't argue with history and you can't argue with Copperplate Gothic Bold!
9/27/07 - I Like The Way It Makes Me Feel
Ohhhh gothic bold, even pitted against a page full of other designs with other colors and fonts, it is you that wins. Will-Harris House apparently believes the same thing. Showing different feelings one can achieve through typography and design, Will-Harris shows that Copperplate Gothic Bold not only shows up in the first spot but that it trumps all other designs. Chalk another one up to CGB.
9/26/07 - Even The Color Printer is Getting Gothic
Ruby is the name of a printer, a color printer to be exact that has a red hue to everything that it prints. Ruby's name is in copperplate gothic bold, proclaiming to the world that she does her best work when printing Copperplate Gothic Bold. Here's to Ruby, here's to you, and here's to success.
9/25/07 - Getting Gothic Crabs
Was wandering about a wine festival a couple of weeks ago when what did I see? The glorious seafood copperplate staring back at me! Sherri's Crabshack not only provides wonderful crab cakes in a festival setting, but she also knows good design when she sees it. Wine, CGB and little crabs are really the only things anyone could ever ask for out of life.
9/24/07 - How Sweet It Is
Fellow co-worker of mine Mike Katsufrakis pointed out that the chocolates on my desk bore the most beautiful font of all time. I had never noticed it before, and I was blown away that some of my favorite chocolates were emblazoned with my favorite font of all time. You can't argue with chocolate and you can't argue with Ghirardelli because they wrote the book on chocolate. Thank you for making such wonderful confections and using such a wonderful font.
9/23/07 - Rhodeside Grill - Arlington, VA - Copperplate Wha?!?
Copperplate Gothic Bold made an appearance at a local restaurant that is very nice to JMU grads when JMU is on TV. I pass it going to visit my fiancé at work, each time assured that all is well with the world and that Copperplate is still regarded as the best font ever! I wish them nothing but success and sleep well at night knowing that their continued success is in part 1. Because they feature such a great font on their establishment 2. Provide a haven for students from JMU to watch football games. Rock on Rhodeside Grille, Rock on.
9/22/07 - Food by-the-pound and A Side Of Font-Due!
Our favorite per pound food bar, The Market Basket in Arlington, Virginia, features not only a smorgasbord of food items but also features some of the best store front graphics and fonts out of anyone up in Northern Virginia. If you look closely, the picture of the cornucopia of grains and food has Copperplate Gothic Bold coming out of it like a bat out of hell. When I want great food, great design, and an experience that goes unmatched in Crystal City, Market Basket and CGB is it!
9/20/07 - Fallingstarz.net
A friend of ours Mike Harrison started a website with all the latest in celebrity gossip and commentary. After being entertained with his gossip we realized he was missing one thing...a logo. So what could otherwise be called an "awful attempt at a Logo", is not awful because it features the font that erases awfulness, Copperplate Gothic Bold. Good luck to Mike and Rachel and thanks for entertaining us!
9/19/07 - The Day the Music Died Lived
Kenny G, one of the founders of modern day music, gravity and the world, has shown us through his sheer existence and subtle design elements that only Copperplate Gothic Bold was good enough for his multi-platinum disc "duotones." At CGB we want to congratulate Kenny G not only for his sheer mastery of the little saxophone, but also for his design skills. Kenny G has once again proven that Copperplate Gothic Bold is the King of all fonts that have been and ever will be. Amen.
9/18/07 - Don't need to go to the Theater, I already know its a Great Show!
So we found this great theater that uses a derivation of Copperplate Gothic Bold. We're all about family values and when we have a chance to see members of the family we feature them as well.
No need to build the theatre, just stop. The sign is enough to entertain.
PS: The site we found this image on is not keen on Copperplate Gothic Bold, in fact the title of the forum is Copperh**e. We are saddened that others do not find joy in the greatest font of all time. I welcome anyone to find a better font for any and every application of any language in the world.
9/17/07 - Bruce Show Host - Needed Copperplate
Found this young lad and what did my eyes see, someone who needed help! So after a little photo shopping of the font, Mr. Campbell went from someone with a poor outlook on life to someone happy as can be! The only thing changed in the photoshop picture is the font to copperplate gothic bold. The smile, 100% pure joy.

The only sacrifice this man being dragged along by his bride is his money for such an awesome design! Copperplate Gothic Bold tells the wedding story masterfully like a skilled artisan making a wood carving of Jesus for a local flea market. This piece spoke to me. 9/15/07 - The Rat Is Quite Phat!
Disney has chosen for their Rat movie a wonderful font to bring parents, kids and grandparents in to see their wonderful film. Make no mistake, Disney has years and years experience creating beautiful masterpieces and of all the fonts in the entire world they could have used, they agreed on Copperplate Gothic Bold. I can only commend Disney, their partners and all that they represent for bringing such a beautiful font to a great movie for all ages.
9/10/07 - GO FOR THE GOLD!
I want to know how you couldn't go for the gold with this beautifully crafted graphic telling folks to Go for the Gold! I use to be a platinum man myself but this graphic changed me in very deep and profound ways.
9/5/07 - Copperplate Gothic Bold Goes Big Time!!!
Apparently the rush is catching on, with this business card used in Oceans some number! This not only had to have been printed onto card stock but was embossed as well! Really I don't think I've seen a sexier business card than the one used here. Let this be a lesson to the world, when you are big time and need to communicate so much with so little, use the copperplate and emboss it.
9/4/07 - Harris Teeter Gettin' BOLD!
We just had one of these stores open up down the street, not only are their grocery stores wonderful, they use the only definitive font for such a great store, Copperplate Gothic Bold is helping this company rewrite the story on the concept of grocery store. Just look at this beautiful website! It's all over it!
